Amazing Give
We are excited to announce our first participation in the annual Amazing Give – a 24-hour, community wide fundraising blitz on April 22nd. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for our Science Club programs.
We are expanding our outreach through our Science Bus, a refitted school bus that is a mobile science museum, bringing an interactive Science experience to children in their own neighborhoods and parks throughout Alachua County including Gainesville, Hawthorne, Micanopy, Alachua, Archer and other areas.
Interactive stations on our Science bus will include physics, biology, astronomy, entomology, geology, food science and so much more. We will share books, games, and creative ways to make science fun. Our Art walls and scavenger hunts will give students an opportunity to use their creativity to learn.
Check out our videos from a parent and from Caring & Sharing Principal Peterson.

New Van for our After School Program
February 2018 – After many years of renting a van for use in our After School Science Program, thanks to our generous donors, we have been able to purchase a van . It is used, but in very good shape and we expect to get many use of use from it. You can see from all the smiles here what a difference it makes to these young people. We hope to get a logo sticker donated soon.
