Annual Arts Festival

The Annual FAAF is a celebration of the rich African American culture of Gainesville through the arts. The Festival has traditionally been held the weekend of Malcolm X birthday (May 19th) The Festival is a two-day street event which host gospel, blues, jazz, R & B, Rap, modern and African dance performances throughout the day. The are activities for children and information relevant to the health and welfare of the community. Food booths line the streets of the Festival that ranges from barbecue to Jamaican to seafood.
