Girl Power

Girl Power is a program for girls 10 to 13 designed to give girls coping skills to choose not to be involved with sex before they are physically, mentally financially and psychologically ready These girls are exposed to professional women i.e. lawyers, doctors, entrepreneurs, judges and other. Field trips to Black colleges, FAMU Homecoming parade, sports events, performing Arts Center and other places that expand the horizons of these young women.

Gentlemen of Distinction

Gentlemen of Distinction is an afterschool program targeting African American boys from low income neighborhoods who have had a history of drugs in their families. These boys range from 6 to 12 years of age.

Environmental Ambassadors

The Environmental Ambassadors is an employment program for teenagers. The Environmental Ambassadors hires them to learn how to take care of the environment and they then go out and teach youth through games and adults through slide presentations. These teenagers also learn about planning parenthood and develop learning materials for other youth on planning parenthood.
